MUSICAL THEATRE (ACTING, SINGING, SONG & DANCE)
Our Musical Theatre Program consists of study in the three areas of Performing Arts – Acting, Singing and Song & Dance and has proven to be one of our most popular programs. Students learn from different tutors, who all specialise in their respective discipline and work collaboratively to prepare for all Musical Theatre performances. Students wishing to take their Musical Theatre training to the next level are encouraged to enrol in additional dance classes and take private singing lessons.

ACTING
Our Acting classes are designed to introduce students to the craft of acting and they are a great way for children to build confidence and explore their creativity in a safe and fun environment. Students work on improvisation exercises and scripts and perform regularly in front of the class, which provides the invaluable opportunity to become comfortable in front of an audience.

SINGING
Our group Singing classes introduce students to basic singing technique whilst exploring songs from various genres including musical theatre and pop. Students wishing to develop a solid singing technique are encouraged to take private singing lessons.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Our Musical Theatre, Acting & Singing students are invited to participate in our Mid Year Performance and our end of year Showcase Performance at the Concourse Theatre each year. Our Showcase Performance is a wonderful celebration of Scenes, Songs & Musical Theatre Song & Dance items. From time to time TPS will produce a Musical and students from our Performer Program, Musical Theatre Program and Acting & Singing Classes will be invited to audition to be part of our TPS Productions.
