CLASSICAL BALLET PROGRAM

Learning the foundations in Classical Ballet is integral to every Dancer’s training. At TPS we teach the RAD Syllabus and offer students the opportunity to sit their RAD examinations, gaining a formal and recognised level of achievement. The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world and is renowned for it’s measured and methodical progression with a strong focus on perfecting basics before advancing to the following Grade.

The study of RAD Ballet provides students with a strong technical foundation through which they will develop their strength, agility, grace, balance and discipline.

Why Study Classical Ballet?

The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the worlds leading organizations in classical ballet with the exam syllabus being taught to more than a quarter of a million students world wide. It has been designed to give the necessary training to students wishing to study seriously with a possible view to following a career in dance or dance related subjects.

TPS is proud to offer training in this syllabus from Grade 1 through to Intermediate then offering Senior Students the opportunity to train in the Performance Based RAD Discovering Repertoire Syllabus.  At TPS we offer the opportunity for students who can demonstrate the required level of skill and class attendance, the opportunity to be assessed for exams. Suitable students will be invited to attend an exam pre-assessment session in order to qualify for submission for a formal RAD Exam.
