The HUGEST congratulations to our incredibly talented and hard working Performer Program students on their performances at the Platinum Dance Competition this weekend. We couldn’t be prouder of our wonderful students who took to the stage with such class, artistry and professionalism.

The competition was extremely fierce and we are very grateful to have received some fabulous results for 11 out of 14 of our routines:

8s:
1st Musical Theatre
2nd Lyrical
3rd Tap (competing in the 12s section)

12s:
1st Tap
1st Musical Theatre
2nd Jazz
HC Lyrical

Open Age:
2nd Tap
3rd Musical Theatre
HC Jazz (Proud Mary)
HC Contemporary

Our Stage 2/3 and Stage 3/5 troupes (12s and Open Age) also received “Golden Tickets” to compete their selected routines at the Platinum Finals in September!

It is so great to be recognised for our work in such an impressive line up however, we were extremely honoured to also receive the “Studio Spirit Award”. This was a testament to how professionally and respectfully our students conducted themselves backstage at the competition.

We were beaming with pride watching our Performer Program student Dev shine on stage last night alongside NIDA’s 3rd Year Acting students in their production of the musical Nine.

At such a young age, Dev delivered a brilliant performance - a true triple threat in the making! We’re so proud to support and nurture Dev on what we know will be an incredible journey ahead. Congratulations, Dev - what a remarkable achievement!

Watching your energy light up the stage was nothing short of magical - every moment was a reflection of the commitment, passion, and resilience you have all poured into this journey. Your hard work hasn’t just built a “dance routine” - it’s built confidence, character, and a powerful sense of community, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you.

We now look forward to the next few weeks of refining, embellishing and preparing for our first competition. We can’t wait to share our work and spirit with the dance world.
